You'll work on the part of Loryvoice that has to be genuinely good: the voice models that carry a real speaker — pacing, emphasis, character — into the languages we go deep on. The big platforms treat those languages as an afterthought. Your models are the reason we can treat them as the point.
Must have
- Hands-on experience with speech synthesis, voice cloning, or speech-to-text models.
- Solid Python and the ML stack (PyTorch or similar); you can read a paper and reproduce it.
- A habit of evaluating models against held-out audio, not cherry-picked samples.
- English working proficiency for an async, written-first team.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with one or more of the languages we ship and their phonetics.
- Experience shipping ML into a production inference pipeline, not just notebooks.
