Backend Engineer

You'll own the dubbing pipeline end to end: ingest a master clip, route it through translation and the speech-to-speech voice modelling that carries the original speaker into each language, attach a signed consent receipt to every render, and deliver the mixed file. When a customer hears “hours, not weeks,” they're describing your code.
Must have
- Strong server-side experience in Python, Go, or Node, with real API design under your belt.
- Comfort with queues and long-running jobs: dubbing is async, and a stuck render is somebody's missed launch.
- Experience integrating external services (payments, delivery, media infrastructure) and handling their failure modes before they become customer emails.
- English working proficiency for an async, written-first team.
Nice to have
- Media processing experience (ffmpeg, audio formats, transcoding).
- Worked with audit-trail or signed-receipt patterns where provenance matters.
